1. Introduction

Space Saver for WhatsApp ("the App") is an Android application developed by Space Saver. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use the App.

2. Google Drive API Usage

The App uses the Google Drive API exclusively to archive your WhatsApp media files to your own personal Google Drive account. Specifically:

• The App uses the drive.file scope only — it can only access files that the App itself created in your Drive.
• The App cannot read, access, or modify any other files in your Google Drive.
• All archived files are stored directly in your personal Google Drive account, under your full ownership and control.
• The App does not store any Google Drive files or credentials on external servers.

3. Data We Process

• WhatsApp photos and videos stored on your device (read and archived to your Drive)
• Google OAuth tokens (stored locally on your device in encrypted storage — never sent to our servers)
• App metadata such as file status and archive state (stored locally in the App's database on your device)

4. Data We Do Not Collect

• We do not operate any backend servers or databases.
• We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to third parties.
• We do not share your media files with anyone — they go directly from your device to your own Google Drive.
• We do not use your data for advertising or analytics purposes.

5. How to Delete Your Data

To remove all data associated with the App:

• Uninstall the App from your device — this removes all local data and tokens.
• Remove the App's access in your Google Account settings: myaccount.google.com → Security → Third-party apps.
• Optionally delete the App's folder in your Google Drive manually.

6. Google API Services User Data Policy

The app's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

7. Third-Party Services

The App uses Google Drive API (Google LLC). Your use of Google Drive is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
